Ten years ago this past May, a youthful and slinky Kevin Durant signed with Nike. Having just finished a standout freshman campaign at the University of Texas, Durant was prime to take over the NBA as one of its most exciting incoming players in the past decade.
Fast forward ten years later and Durant is on his tenth signature shoe with Nike Basketball and currently basking in the light of his first NBA championship. Durant wore the Nike KDX en route to that first ring with the Golden State Warriors, thus, the brand recently produced a video titled “Making of a Champion” to honor his ten years of partnership and first ring. In it, KD reflects on his drive and the journey to capturing his first title.
