Next year, Nike will be launching a Blazer Mid outfitted with mismatched Nike Checks. In addition to its unique design, the creatives have carefully chosen the color of each Swoosh.
The Nike Blazer Mid comes equipped with four mismatched Swooshes similar to popular NBA teams in the 80s and 90s. The purple and gold pay homage to the Lakers Dynasty of the 80s. A shade of red honors the MJ’s Chicago Bulls, followed by a hint of green representing the Boston Celtics. Each Swoosh is made from leather used on indoor basketballs. Other details include Nike branding on the tongue and heel. Wrapping up the design is a white leather upper with an off-white rubber sole.
