We’re not quite sure what to make of this, but the Nike BE-DO-WIN “Hyper Royal” definitely has our attention. For better or for worse, this forgotten 80’s silhouette is sure to turn heads.
The Nike BE-DO-WIN is a cross between a sneaker and moccasin. The upper has a multi-color design that includes shades of “Hyper Royal,” “Midnight Navy,” and “Thunder Blue.” Originally known as the Nike “Bedouin,” this silhouette is coming back around to bring forth a message about sustainability. The name “BE-DO-WIN” is a play on the original name and stands for “Be conscious of climate change, Do take action against climate change, and Win the battle to prevent climate change.” A BE-DO-WIN insignia is placed on the back of the heel and printed on the cork insole. This sneaker has an organic feel that is finished with a Octowaffle traction midsole and Nike branding on the side.
