Nike Goes to Bat for the Next Generation of Baseball Players

With the 2022 MLB All-Star Game taking place in Los Angeles soon, Nike is stepping up to the plate and changing the game.

During MLB All-Star week, the Swoosh is partnering with ithe league alongside its retail and community partners to make diamond sports more equitable, accessible, and fun for Black and Latina girls & all youth in LA. Nike will provide opportunities across softball and baseball at all skill levels by offering Nike Diamond Community Camps, Retail Experiences, and Coaching Clinics across the city, as well as through ongoing investments in the Jackie Robinson Foundation and Play Equity Fund. 

Paying homage to the Dodgers and the City of Angels, Nike is releasing the Jackie Robinson-inspired Nike Dunk Low as well as a baseball version of a Los Angeles classic — the Nike Cortez.

The Nike All-Star jerseys are available now on Nike.com. The Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” releases on July 19 on SNKRS and select retailers. The Nike Lunar Cortez BSBL will be available soon.
