This weekend, the true “First Game” iteration of the Air Zoom Generation will finally land at select retailers. It trails James’ first home game retro, which released in very limited numbers earlier this year. And while this weekend’s release is certainly available in wider numbers than its predecessor, they’ll still be pretty difficult to score.
Largely consistent with the aesthetic to Bron’s OG pair, slight deviations mark the retail release that carry a $175 price tag. Its signature chrome heel bumper is now done in a Metallic Red finish, which accents the shoe’s Varsity Crimson shade exceptionally well. Moreover, Nike nails the construction with high-grade leather, matched with mesh paneling at the midfoot underlaying the Swoosh.
