The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut was one of the highly reviewed basketball performance sneakers Nike put out in recent history and they look to repeat with the new Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 dropping in a bred colorway later this year.
The sneaker features a black multilayered mesh upper with white design accents throughout. The Swoosh is seen in white with the GT logo seen on the tongue in red as well as 3 of the lace loops. The GT Cut 2 features a new external heel counter for better lockdown which is seen in black and red with a grey and black midsole featuring a full-length Zoom strobel and React drop-in insole setup with an additional Zoom unit added to the heel. Lastly, the outsole features a new traction design that features a rubber compound that uses deep tread grooves so that once force is applied to each step, the grooves separate and snap back into place, so the outsole can cover more traction on the floor.
The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 “Envision” is set to drop on October 30th for $170 via Nike.com for Nike Members. Check out the official photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
