Is the Nike Air VaporMax the best new Nike silhouette of the year? Depending on what you like, what type of sneaker you wear most often, and for what purpose, that’s an easy yes for many. Nike’s crowning sneaker that first released back in February via collaboration then officially on Air Max Day in March, will return next year with even more enhancements.
Differentiating itself from proper VaporMax models with not-so-subtle variations, the Swoosh on this upcoming edition is far less pronounced while a toe bumper and heel reinforcements are added for good measure. There is consistency in this new model, though, like the Flyknit upper, Flywire cables and VaporMax cushioning that all appear of the original.
