The Nike vault is being opened to unearth yet another model from its storied past as we get word of the impending resurrection of the Nike Air Python. Using Twitter as the media outlet of choice, Nike’s PR director tweeted the news of the silhouette’s return after being held over for 26 years since its initial release. Bearing no swooshes and draped in snakeskin, the Air Python made its debut alongside the Air Jordan II exhibiting striking similarities with its signature counterpart. Given that it’s the Year of the Snake, and Jordan 2 releases are few and far in between, the return of the Python this month (September) should be a much-welcomed one, followed up with the White/Brown colorway being released in October. Are you on edge for when the Air Python strikes? Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for updated details as the news becomes available.
