The same can be said for the Nike Air Max Uptempo 97, which returns today fueled by the aesthetically pleasing jerseys worn by the San Antonio Spurs back in 1996. The then David Robinson-led team donned the “fiesta” home unis, a concept that now inspires the Air Uptempo. Incorporating a clean white upper encapsulated by a black base and midsole, vibrant pink accents take to the Air unit and rear while the shoe is finished with an icy blue outer.
