Beaverton mainstay Nike continues to pay homage to the legendary Marion Franklin Rudy aka Frank Rudy, the aerospace engineer who created Nike’s Air technology and forever changed the footwear business. Along with the Air Max 90 SE, the sportswear giant will also be dropping an Air Max Plus dedicated to Rudy.

The special edition Nike Air Max Plus “M. Frank Rudy” features a clean white mesh and leather base elevated with white leather mudguards and a translucent TPU cage. Special details include the blueprint insoles showing off the technology with Rudy’s signature, along with his iconic California “Nike Air” license plate as hangtags. Lastly, “EST 1998” verbiage is printed on the Air unit.

Fans will be able to purchase this Nike Air Max Plus “M. Frank Rudy” when it releases in the upcoming weeks via Nike.com and select retailers for $180. Keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
