With the Nike Air Max 97 playing a starring role in this year’s popular silhouettes, the tasteful colors just keep coming. So far the ladies have seen a really nice palette of colorways drop in this premium model throughout the summer months, most popularly the baby pink.
Now Nike brings us a matte lilac colourway – dubbed “Taupe Grey” in tone. These are for the ladies and only come in the smaller sizes, but no doubt the guys will be after a pair too.
Unlike some of the earlier pairs this year, Nike has used a secondary color to compliment the primary and make it pop. The use of black on the inside/outside Swoosh, inside the air unit and on the sole is my favorite part of the “Taupe Grey” 97 Premium, previewed below via asphalt gold.
