Since resurging back in 2017, Nike’s popular Air Max 97 model has been dominating the sneaker scene. Now the lauded silhouette is getting a hiking-inspired outfit for the Summer.
This outdoor-ready Nike Air Max 97 sports a vibrant multi-colored outfit, reminiscent of Sean Wotherspoon’s recent offering. Vibrant ACG-like colors are spread across the vamp overlays such as denim blue, bright orange, and yellow. Mint green joins in on the fun and helps to accent the inner liner and embroidered Swoosh insignia. The lower half remains a bit toned down thanks to the eggwhite mudguard and beige midsole. Aiding in the sneaker’s hiking look are black trail laces speckled with golden yellow.
So far no release date for these Nike Air Max 97 has yet to be shared, but they are expected to land at select Nike retailers and Nike.com in the upcoming weeks for a retail price of $170. Keep it locked here for an official release date.
