Nike is paying tribute to Italy with a special release of the Nike Air Max 97. Over the years, Nike has offered exclusive European colorways as a way to thank its consumers across the Atlantic.
Like the 2018 predecessor, this silhouette features the Italian flag on both the tongue and heel pull tabs. The pair comes equipped with a copper-like mesh and leather base with 3M detailing traversing throughout the upper. Returning motifs include Nike branding on the sides, heels, and tongue paired with sail-colored midsoles, brown outsoles, and light red Air bubbles.
