Nike will be dropping a third iteration of its upcoming Air Max 97 “Cork”. After surfacing in a stealthy “Obsidian” color palette and a more demure color scheme, this upcoming variant is dressed in “Coconut Milk” and “Volt” accents.
Along with paying homage to the humble plant, this Nike Air Max 97 “Cork” is additionally made from 20% recycled content, including recycled poly canvas and other textiles. Down below, the outsole is made with 9% recycled cork and infused with rubber. The cork used to craft the outsole is partially sourced from the wine industry.
