Nike‘s lifestyle silhouette, the Nike Air Max 97, has often been used as a beta tester for new colorways, materials, and motifs. The iconic silhouette arrives this year in the “Blueberry” colorway. Recently, the sportswear giant announced the arrival of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Blue Raspberry” and has now unveiled a similar colorway to another fan-favorite shoe, which could indicate more fruit-like offerings are on the horizon.
The silhouette comes layered in an all-white base composed of mesh and leather materials. Highlighting the pair are different shades of blue that represent the ripeness of a blueberry. Other details include Nike branding on the sides and tongue, followed by the iteration’s signature pull tabs. For the finishing touches, the pair rests atop a royal blue Air bubble paired with a white and black sole unit.
