Nike Creates an Air Max 90 for the Gamers

Sneakerheads looking for a trip down memory lane? Nike has just debuted a retro-tinged Air Max 90 inspired by the nostalgic era of the 80s and 90s.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Retro Gamers” features a white leather and mesh constructed upper accented with metallic silver mudguards and gradient-dressed eye stay molds. Most noteworthy are the 8-bit, pixilated Swoosh insignias spotlighted on both the medial and lateral sides. Final design cues include the subtle print of “JUST DO IT” on the mudguards, an iridescent tongue patch, and a removable velcro-backed heel tab.
