Swedish Football Club AIK Fotboll is celebrating its 130th anniversary and to commemorate, Nike is releasing an Air Max 90 in honor of the Stockholm-based club.
Made of an all-black upper, with mesh as the base and leather and suede overlays, there are gold accents on the medial and lateral heels with “1891”, the year the club was founded, and “AIK,” an abbreviation for the club’s full name Allmänna Idrottsklubben. The tongue tag has a sun and crown on the left and right shoe, respectively, which a part of AIK’s club crest.
The white midsole brings some contrast to the shoe with a black midsole wedge. A semi-translucent outsole with “CXXX” (130 in Roman numerals) in gold on the forefoot with insoles that pay homage to the train station of the stadium.
