The dog days of summer are just around the corner, which makes it the perfect time for Nike to drop a dog-inspired Air Max 1. Dedicated to the ladies, this Nike Air Max 1 “Woman’s Best Friend” is embedded with all things dog lover.
Design details dedicated to the lovable pet include the furry textiles, split pattern mudguards, and tongue tabs that boast bandana-like patterns often seen on the necks of canines. Even the top eye-stay is shaped like a bone, a favorite treat of the four-legged friend.
Moving into the shoe’s interior, the same bright green as seen on a tennis ball dresses the liner while the insoles feature a grassy motif. The final details elevating the pair are the mismatching color-blocking varying from the right and left shoe.
