While Nike has dropped a lot of heat this year, 2017 might be remembered as the year of Air. From the retro Air Max 97 Gold and Silver to the OG Air Max 1, there’s been plenty of hits. Also introducing hte VaporMax, the Swoosh has made this year a fusion of both the past and future of sneaker technology.
In light of the anniversary of the Air Max 1, Nike has paid homage to the silhouette in a variety of ways, including this Rose Gold colorway of the Air Max 1 PRM. Embossed with a snakeskin pattern dipped in rose gold, this Air Max is a definite stand out. While the upper and insoles are entirely drenched in that fire color, the white midsole definitely stands out and gives the shoe an elegant look. This pair of Air Max 1s also has a lighter, rosier touch in the interior and its seam.
