Before the world was introduced to the Nike Air Max 1, the Swoosh had plans to release a version that featured a larger and more visible Air bubble. Thankfully, Nike has dug up the ’86 specs and is gradually releasing more pairs to its audience.
The pair arrives in a grey, light blue, and navy colorway crafted from mesh and nubuck materials. Similar to its 1987 version, the offering features two Swooshes on each side, followed by Nike branding on the tongue tabs and heels. A larger and wider Air bubble rests between a white and midnight navy sole unit.
