After some delays, Nike is re-releasing the Nike Air Huarache OG “Purple Punch” for the sneaker’s 30th anniversary. Using its unique blend of futuristic aesthetics and comfort, the Nike Air Huarache forged a path for modern-day running shoes.
The silhouette returns in its classic white, black, and purple color blocking crafted with leather and neoprene. Shades of black appear on the tongue, pull tab, and ankle collar. Additionally, hues of purple emerge underneath the leather overlays for added contrast. Unlike the OG pair, this offering features the traditional Huarache logo on the tongue instead of the classic Nike Air label. Wrapping up the design is a white and black rubber sole unit.
