The Nike Air Force 1’s popularity cannot be overstated, evidenced by Nike’s need to slow down quantities purchased of the Bruce Kilgore designed sneaker. Coming upon 2022, the Air Force 1 is looking to celebrate its 40th anniversary (yes, 40 years!) with a new “Shapeless, Formless, Limitless” colorway that symbolically displays its significance upon our past, present, and future.
The influence of China is all but clear with this AF1, which arrives fresh in vivid colors, unique ornaments, and a newly designed tongue that is a nod to the colorway name. Jade coloring marks multiple panels and the select pieces on the lateral heel, with a lush pink suede sitting on the outside. The tongue features the wording “NIKE INTERNATIONAL” with the pair’s selected number below.
