In honor of its 40th Anniversary, Nike Sportswear is releasing the Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM “Triple White.” This women’s-exclusive is a brand news silhouette and pushes the AF1 boundaries like never before.
The Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM has obvious sacai influence that can be seen right away when you look at the midsole. The stacked design and split rear shows similarities to the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle. The Nike Swoosh comes doubled-up similar to the KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low, but opts for a cutout silhouette instead of an overlay. The entire upper is made with bright white leather, with the exception of the Swoosh, which offers a small contrast in “Summit White.” To finish, this sneaker takes a minimal approach as the silver lace dubraes omit the traditional AF1 branding.
