2022 marks the 40th anniversary of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Air Force 1 silhouette. To celebrate, Nike will be releasing a bevy of AF1s including this Air Force 1 Mid dedicated to the City of Love.
This upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Paris” pays homage to the French capital. Cream-toned tumbled leather is used for the base, while blue and green accents are a shout-out to the city’s stone buildings and street signs. Look closely at the perforation and you’ll notice the triangular shape as a nod to the Louvre Museum. Elsewhere, the lace dubraes shaped as a Parisian Street sign along with an embroidered “75” on the forefoot (Paris’ zip code) are the final homages to the city.
