Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Air Force 1 silhouette celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. To celebrate the milestone, Nike has started the “Since ’82” series to commemorate the sneaker that became a pop-culture icon.
Like its counterparts, the offering arrives in a simple layout composed of a white leather base with red Nike branding on the tongues and heels. Additionally, hues of red reappear on the Nike Checks and insoles. The silhouette rests atop a white and gum sole unit for the finishing touches.
