Nike and South Korean-inspired sneakers have been plenty as of late with the Nike Dunk Low “Seoul” using the South Korean flag for the colorway and the Nike Presto using South Korea’s national mascot of the Tiger, and we get a first look at a Nike Air Force 1 Low that takes a more traditional Korean route.

Nicknamed “Hangul” which translates to the Korean alphabet/language, the sneaker uses a Sail nylon base with Sail leather overlays. Korean characters are stitched on the toebox and quarter panels translating to “Just Do It” in English alongside traditional Korean colors known as Obangsaek. The stitching on the Swoosh features contrast stitching in the same colors and the same hues can be seen on the tongue tag and the heel stripe. Sail is seen again on the midsole with “Nike” phonetically spelled out in Korean above the AIR stripe and a white outsole finishes off the sneaker.

The ladies’ exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low “Hangul Day” is set to drop on October 9th, exclusively on SNKRS Korea with a retail price of 139,000 Won/$117 USD.
