Nike Air Force 1 Low Adopts 3-D Chenille Swoosh Branding

By in large a trend initiated by Aleali May with the introduction of her Air Jordan 1 collaboration last year, chenille has since become a fast growing theme in sneaker culture. Nike, of course, helms the trend best considering it started within their confines.

Earlier this year seen on the Nike Air Max 90 and now the Air Force 1 Low, the often ignored material was once a texture used to famously produce old house slippers. Now an orbiting item in sneaker culture, its influence on the Air Force 1 Low is seen through a traditional white-on-white pair with 3-D chenille Swoosh detailing in red and blue. Branding mimics those shades at both the tongue and heel counter, punctuating the look of this simplistic yet remarkably modern AF1.

It’s unclear when the shoe will release on Nike.com but there are GS sizes of this Nike Air Force 1 Low now available at Shoe Palace.
