In honor of the game of basketball, Nike’s upcoming “Planet Hoops” collection plans to celebrate all things basketball, and one of the best models in the collection is the new Nike Air Foamposite One “Beijing.”
While Foamposites have yet to see a fast resurgence like the Dunk series, this colorway might be the catalyst. The upper features a wide variety of different colors, doing so in an almost Galaxy-like pattern. Along the mix of colors is the different silver outlines, depicting images like the mythical dragon, all inspired by the capital of China. Following the dragon theme, the lace lock system will feature a textured pattern rather than simple leather. Capped off with the “Planet Hoops” logo in the insole, this sneaker will likely be one of the must-haves from the collection and for all Foamposite lovers.
The Nike Air Foamposite One “Beijing” will release alongside the Planet Hoops collection for $250 USD this summer.
