To mark the 30th anniversary of Nike’s Air Flight Lite Mid silhouette, which was made popular by Scottie Pippen during the 1992 Summer Olympics, the sportswear giant will be releasing a special colorway dedicated to the basketball champion and icon.
The Nike Air Flight Lite Mid “Scottie Pippen” is dressed in a patriotic color scheme of classic white and “University Red,” the former covering the majority of the sneaker’s construction, while the latter arrives as accents on the Swoosh insignias, tongue, inner liner, midsole, and Nike branding throughout. Rounding out the final homage to Pippen are stamped logos on the insoles.
