One shoe not getting nearly as much love as it deserves this season is the bring back of the Nike Air Flight Lite. The Flight Lite was Scottie Pippen‘s go to sneaker in 1991 during the Bulls’ first NBA Championship run. With the high-top silhouette, one might think this is a heavy shoe for a slow moving post position player, but the shoe definitely lives up to the Lite part of its name. Cushioned by Nike Air cushioning and a full length Phylon midsole, the shoe is super soft while remaining lightweight.
Recently hitting stores including Packer Shoes is the “Hyper Jade” colorway of the Nike Air Flight Lite featuring a black nubuck upper, accented with Hyper Jade on the swoosh, eyelets, lining, and heel. Hyper Punch makes its way on the inside of the tongue, the Nike Flight logo, and on the solid rubber parts of the mostly translucent outsole.
