Celebrating the thirtieth year of Nike Flight, the Nike Air Flight 89 has returned in the Black/White colorway that was a staple for pretty much every basketball sneaker of the era. Known originally as the Nike Air Flight, the shoe utilized the same tooling as the Air Jordan IV following the move done by the Air Revolution that shared the same midsole/outsole as the Air Jordan III.

Similar to the Nike Air Max III and Nike Air Max 90, the Nike Air Flight adopted the year model to the name once the retros were introduced about a decade after their initial debut.
