The Tokyo Design Studio Elevates the New Balance FuelCell RC Elitev2

While New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio isn’t necessarily new to the market, the sub-division has remained relatively lowkey amongst other New Balance ventures. Last October we got to see the Tokyo Design Studio takeover the New Balance RC Elite SI in partnership with Stone Island; just before the trio would collide again on the FuelCell RC Elite V2 . Now, New Balance and the Tokyo Design Studio deliver their own solo sneaker with the New Balance x Tokyo Design Studio FuelCell RC Elitev2.

As always, the Tokyo Design Studio comes ready with a refined colorway that enriches the torn-away design of the upper. The base layer is made with blue engineered mesh that is topped off with shredded grey suede. The signature New Balance “N” comes in light grey but is halfway torn off. The forefoot of the sneaker also features New Balance branding that is given an in-motion appearance. Finishing details include Tokyo Design Studio branding and a FuelCell midsole.
