Stepping outside of the norm, New Balance switches things up with a brand new design that combines a more traditional upper with futuristic elements. The New Balance MH988 reads classic NB in the forefoot, but raises the cut and perforates a portion of the latter half of the upper, which rides on top of the brand’s new Freshfoam technology. New Balance Japan has produced this bold colorway to further raise the volume on the new silhouette, using a deep green suede upper with brown and bubblegum pink accents, while the shoe is finished with a splattered white midsole and a pink bottom.
