The forthcoming New Balance 1700 “Steel Blue” boasts a classic construction made from a mix of pig suede, perforated leather, and mesh. The majority of the sneaker’s upper is dressed in greyish brown tones while the titular contrasting “Steel Blue” hue arrives on the toe box, heel, outlining the label’s signature “N” insignia, and finally on the midsole’s cushioning system.

In terms of branding, “MADE IN USA” arrives on the tongue while “1700” appears on the lateral heel. Final specs include the ABZORB, ENCAP, and C-CAP cushioning system underfoot.
