If you recall, Jordan Brand released an Air Jordan 7 that was inspired by Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miro last summer in Barcelona. Similar to Miro’s paintings, the sneaker contained a plethora of colors on the upper. In the same manner New Balance will be releasing a Joan Miro inspired 1500 model this Saturday, April 11th, 2009. As stated earlier, this New Balance 1500 contains some of the same features of the Air Jordan 7 “Miro”. it possesses a predominately black suede base with touches of yellow, red, green and blue throughout the upper. Other interesting details include a black perforated toe box and the multi-colored sole. This unique shoe was created by 24 Kilates and will be available at select boutiques this Saturday. |
