Following a collaboration with sneaker and streetwear retailer Bodega, athletic footwear brand Asics is now spotlighting the beloved anime and manga franchise, Naruto, on this upcoming Gel-NYC.
Having already released a collaborative range back in 2022, this time around the Japanese brand is spotlighting the titular character, Naruto Uzumaki. The Naruto x Asics Gel-NYC, designed by French TV host, Sebastien Abdelhamid, nods to one of the most important moments in the saga’s story: the Pain Arc.
The pair sports a black and orange color scheme that represents the character’s powered-up form, while the Uzumaki clan’s iconic spiral motif is showcased on the tongues and lace dubraes. Further elevating the collaborative pair is a special box and yet-to-be-revealed accessories.
