The film director, producer, writer and actor is a well-known Jordan aficionado and has done a ton of work with the storied brand; however, Jordans do not make up his entire sneaker rotation. While at the Air Jordan XX8 launch event last week, we caught up with Mars Blackmon to find out his current, five-sneaker rotation. Spike Lee: “I might wear the XX8 at the Barclays Center when the orange and blue – the New York Knickerbockers – will avenge. James Brown had a song that I love; it’s called Payback! Jason Kidd will be playing this time, so we’ll be ready. And they’ll be more Knicks fans at the Barclays Center this time around. So, yeah, the XX8 might be shoe of choice for the payback.”
