Mr. Throwback: “I can stand in Yeezy 1s for 12 hours. For me as a 33 year old guy that didn’t grow up on Yeezys, I can stay kind of cool as an older dude [Laughs] and these are super comfortable. When I go out with my wife, I don’t like wearing ‘adult’ dress shoes, so I wear sneakers. I was in Philly looking for another Mr. Throwback location and I came across Suplex which is a sneaker store. I saw the Black/Pinks and was like, ‘I’ve gotta have this pair.’ You can wear them with anything and they’re the most comfortable pair of Yeezys I own.”
“I’m obsessed with Yeezy 1s. Back in the day, I got the “Zen” 1s at a flea market. I assumed they were fake because they were $10. I bought them and went to Sole Exchange in 2013 and kids were offering me like $400 and they all told me they were 100% real. They were in bad condition, so the guy I traded my “Zen” 1s for had me add $300 to trade them for a pair of DS “What the” Dunks.”
