Commissioned by Converse, 3D printing experts Modla and London artist Damilola Odusote have recreated the Chuck Taylor in 3D-Printed Sculpture form. According to Highsnobiety, the piece was rooted from a 2D sketch by Odusote, inspired by the shoe’s history with WW2 Fighter Jets, hoops and rock ‘n’ roll. Modla lead designer Jon Fidler later designed the 3D piece based off Odusote’s sketch, printing the final product onto SLS nylon plastic. Peep pics below.
