Mizuno continues to rise to the occasion with their Sportstyle line as of late, both inline and collaboratively, and the Japanese brand taps into the nation’s fishing heritage for the upcoming “Fisherman Pack” dropping later this week.

The collection features the Mizuno Wave Mujin TL, Wave Rider 10, and Wave Prophecy LS, using Japan’s fishing towns as inspiration as it contrasts the pace of everyday life with tranquility and scenic water. Mesh and suede in Bering Sea Blue make up the majority of the respective uppers with the Wave Rider 10 and Wave Mujin TL featuring copper accents.

Mizuno’s Runbird is placed on the quarter panels on the medial and lateral sides with the Wave Mujin TL featuring a netting overlay, similarly seen on fishing nets. Although using different cushioning setups, the collection features a cream midsole respectively with the Wave Prophecy LS using Mizuno’s futuristic-looking full-length Infinity Wave midsole, The Wave Rider 10 using a Wave Technology TPU insert for stability, and the Wave Mujin TL using a TPU insert in the heel as well in a wave-like form.

The Mizuno “Fisherman Pack” is set to drop on December 2nd via EU retailers Wellgosh, Footpatrol, Urban Industry, HANON, 18 Montrose, Flannels, SNS, Main Source, and END with prices ranging from £140-£225.
