If you’re ballin’, sometimes you can make purchases that seem highly unreasonable to others. For instance, you can purchase a pair of shoes that cost more than some cars, and in fact, that is what one anonymous bidder did on Thursday, by purchasing a pair of Michael Jordan game-worn Converse’s for $33,387. While the model purchased is not from MJ’s iconic signature line, it is the pair that was sported by Jordan during his days in Raleigh as a member of the North Carolina basketball team. The company hosting the auction, Grey Flannel, is not unfamiliar with auctioning away MJ sneakers as the iconic “Flu Game” Air Jordan 12s were sold last year for $104,765.
