Whether you describe it as an obsession or merely dedication, Okalhoma City’s Chris McCord should be applauded. You see, McCord has been able to acquire all 25 different colorways of the Nike KD VI. As he describes it, this journey started all by chance as he ventured into Penn Sqaure Mall back in June of 2012. Once inside, Chris McCord entered his name into a raffle hoping to win a new Lexus but ultimately won the opportunity to buy a pair of shoes at retail price. Chris’s Choice?: a pair of Nike KD VIs “Preheats” that retailed for $130. McCord figured upon his initial buy, to gather every color of the Nike KD VI. As he states, “I thought there would maybe be 10; at the most.” 25 pairs in and Chris doesn’t seem to regret any of his purchases.
