Often imitated by never duplicated, the Vans Slip-On has been the catalyst for copying by many a maker. Perhaps that’s the price of being good. Nevertheless, the Cali classic from 1977 is going the high end route while still taking the high road with a reasonable retail mark.

This fall, the Slip-On will be launching in an array of monotone makeups with upgraded material palettes, yet still selling at price points of $50 to $60. The likes of leather and wool replace canvas on select iterations, while vintage makeups are also offered.
