Following a team-up on the Clyde and Suede, PUMA is once again linking up with beloved toy company Mattel on a nostalgic range that with have sneaker fans turning heads.
Heading back to the ‘80s, the limited Mattel x PUMA “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” Collection comprises three RS-X colorways, each inspired by the main characters from Masters of the Universe: He-Man, Skeletor and Battle Cat.
Each option pays homage to its respective character through a range of 3D textures, bold colors, and authentic text and graphics from the show. For the Mattel x PUMA RS-X “He-Man”, the pair sports a relatively neutral palette of burnt orange and red, while He-Man’s face and the furry texture of his bottoms are spotlighted on the tongue.
On the Mattel x PUMA RS-X “Skeletor”, this colorway opts for a purple and green palette to match the antagonist’s getup. Lastly, the green body and orange stripes of Battle Cat are predominantly featured on the Mattel x PUMA R-X “Battle Cat”, while the color of his saddle is seen on the liner, tongue, and laces.
The Mattel x PUMA “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” Collection is available now via PUMA.com, the PUMA mobile app, the PUMA NYC Flagship store, Foot Locker, Champs Sports and select global retailers. Each pair is priced at $120.
