President of Adidas Group North America, Mark King, is an eccentric character that often speaks as an underdog but acts as a king, a great marriage for a man in charge of one of the largest sportswear brands in the world. Promoted to president last June, King recently spoke with the Portland Business Journal about many things, a few of which include their upcoming design studio in Brooklyn, Kanye West, and the addition of the Miami Hurricanes to their collegiate roster.
When speaking of West, he mentioned Kanye’s immense cultural influence and spoke with muted, yet clearly strategic, excitement with regards to their upcoming releases with the ultimate influencer.
