Festivities are underway as the Limited Edt x adidas Consortium EQT Race Walk celebrates the 30th anniversary of the adidas’ equipment line. Limited Edt is Singapore’s leading sneaker boutique and is one of 12 retailers that were invited by adidas to create their own unique EQT sneaker.

Limited Edt’s take on the adidas EQT Race Walk is by far the stand-out sneaker from the 30th anniversary EQT collection. While other retailers like Overkill and Extra Butter offered exciting colors and concepts, Limited Edt’s approach serves up mystic futurism. Inspired by the F1 Night Race of the Singapore Grand Prix, the upper is made with matte black nubuck and refined leather side stripes. The sneaker is accented with neon blue glow-in-the-dark piping that streamlines the supercar concept. Co-branded details appear on the black tongue tags, that swap between “LE” and adidas. This design element is reinterpreted on the embossed heel tab. To complete the look, the sneaker sits atop a white midsole and is finished with a light blue textured outsole.

These sneakers are extremely limited edition — and that’s not a play on words. Only 500 pairs of the Limited Edt x adidas Consortium EQT Race Walk will be released worldwide, so you better get your affairs in order if you plan on copping. These sneakers also come with a few other collectors’ items including a set of extra laces with reflective details and a lanyard with a unique serialized Access Pass out of 500, that resembles the F1 Paddock passes. The passes include a QR Code that gives you special access to exclusive information from the project, interviews, and privileges such as vouchers and goodies at various sports, lifestyle, and entertainment venues. Early-bird buyers will also receive an adidas “Life Needs Equipment” coffee table book that archives the history behind this collaboration, along with the works of all twelve 30th anniversary EQT pairs.

The Limited Edt x adidas Consortium EQT Race Walk is set to release on October 25, 2021. To purchase, you can visit the Limited Edt “Needs Equipment” pop-up, select Limited Edt stores, or the brand’s website. The retail price is set at $190 SGD (approximately $140 USD).
