Later this summer, the latest edition of NBA 2K franchise, 2K19, will make its way to gaming retailers everywhere. Slated to launch this September, the game’s new cover star is new Los Angeles Laker LeBron James. Yet before the gaming franchise moves on to next year, they close out last year’s edition with an ode to Kyrie Irving, the NBA 2K18 cover star.
In honor of select gaming pros who’ve mastered the Road to 99 mode, Nike produced a limited run of 200 pairs of a “NBA 2K18” Kyrie 4. The mismatched set was sent out to gamers of the highest regard, including whoelsebutdeetho who showed his pair on Instagram.
Juxtaposing pink and aqua mismatched silos, unique scribes mark the quarter panel and Swoosh branding while Irving’s likeness punctuates the insole. An NBA 2K18 badge also marks the heel.
Although this limited edition Nike Kyrie 4 “NBA 2K18” isn’t currently for sale, inline pairs of the shoe are available now at Nike.com.
