Li-Ning has been busy cementing their place in the basketball industry over the years singing some of the games biggest stars. Adding to their famous Way of Wade line, the Chinese powerhouse has added a new signature model to their line-up for Jimmy Butler, the JB1.
Taking notes from Butler’s play style, the pair champions intensity with hunting-inspired features with Li-Ning’s tech. Durable BOOM fibers combine with full length BOOM cushioning tech underfoot for a connected experience on the upper. Removing the insole & midsole cloth eliminates weight to bring the wearer closer to the ground, allowing for more dynamic movement. The carbon fiber plate is paired with a brand new outsole which uses material in a honeycomb pattern further reducing weight and optimising grip for indoor courts.
Subtle colours pop throughout the pair in the Miami Heat’s iconic orange & red, with upper fibers woven to show different colors depending on the angle they’re seen from. Vibrant orange pops off the lining & sole, which is shaped to resemble fangs underfoot to round off Butler’s predatory play style.
