Over the past few years, British retailer Clarks Originals has been making quite the name for itself in the streetwear world. Following highly sought-after collaborations alongside the likes of OVO, BAPE, and Supreme, Clarks this time joins forces with denim purveyor Levi’s for a range inspired by the late ‘80s Manchester music scene.
The late ‘80s marks the perfect era for Clarks to rewind to, considering the Clarks Wallabees were the go-to footwear choice of the time, especially when paired with flared Levi’s jeans. The Levi’s x Clarks ’80s Manchester SS21 Collection comprises three of Clark Originals’ classic silhouettes, the Wallabee, the Desert Boot, and the Weaver, all crafted in premium suede and accented with nubuck detailing.
In terms of colorways, the Wallabee arrives in a pink suede and mauve nubuck trim and laces, the Desert Boot comes dressed in light blue and is paired with lavender laces. Lastly, the Weaver is constructed from two shades of yellow suede and accented with nubuck detailing. Rounding out each pair is a signature Clarks’ crepe sole.
Each silhouette from the Levi’s x Clarks ’80s Manchester SS21 Collection will be available to purchase starting June 11 via select Levi’s retailers, Levi.com, and the Levi’s app. Each pair retails for $260.
