While some were expecting to see its debut on the newest edition of KICKS Magazine last month, the 192nd edition of SLAM Magazine was unveiled today, complete with LeBron James wearing his newest signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron 13, officially for the first time on the cover.
Shot by longtime SLAM-fam photographer Atiba Jefferson while James was on tour in Asia, the “Charged Up” cover features a focused LeBron in the “Medium Berry” colorway of the Nike LeBron 13.
Within the pages of the mag, he’s also featured posing with the more straightforward Red / Black edition. To date, most of the leaked pairs shown online have been Kid’s sized samples. You’ll notice on LeBron’s pair that the Men’s edition features Flywire strands through the lacing eyelets, along with an additional helping of Foamposite above the tongue along the midfoot.
